Massage Therapist, Sports Medicine Center, Faculty of Kinesiology

Position Overview

Sport Medicine Centre at the University of Calgary - Faculty of Kinesiology requires an outstanding Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) for part-time contract work. The successful applicant must have 5 years of experience who has graduated from a 2200 hour program, and who is a member of NHPC, RMTA, or MTAA. Must have a valid registration and insurance.

The applicant should be motivated, should enjoy working in a team setting with other health practitioners. Although our service is open to the public the majority of our patients are athletes; therefore, the specialization in sport massage is highly preferred.
Applicant has to demonstrate ability to build and maintain a successful practice, and can collaborate seamlessly with the referring practitioners within our office. Adept working on anterior structures (knees, hip flexors, pectoralis muscles) as on posterior structures.
